Moira originally trained at the prestigious Dartington Hall in Totnes, Devon. She now lives in Dorset and, in her own words, has ‘a compulsive desire to paint, make marks and produce vivid and expressive work‘. Inspiration for Moira’s joyous and exuberant paintings comes from whatever catches her eye. This might be an unusual colour combination in the natural world, a pattern on a scrap of fabric, flowers in a summer garden, the intense light of the Mediterranean or the hues and textures of an Australian landscape. Whatever the subject matter, Moira has a unique style and wonderful sense of colour that results in paintings guaranteed to make you smile.
Moira exhibits her paintings widely in the UK and in Australia to where she regularly travels.
